Our aim at Chelmsford Osteopathy Clinic is to promote individualised care within the local community. A place where a whole-body approach to health and well-being is taken to treat the cause, rather than focus solely on the symptoms.
We pride ourselves on taking a holistic approach to our patients recovery and to ensure each person is considered unique and will be given the time and space to discuss their health issues in a supportive environment and where treatment is tailored to their needs.
And while there is a desire to assist patients with physical assessments, treatment, exercise, advice and education, our primary goal is to offer friendly and affordable care and a return to the things you want and love to do.
John graduated with a Bachelors (BSc) and Master’s Degree (M.Ost) from the University College of Osteopathy (formally British School of Osteopathy). Following this, he recently spent time working within the NHS where he was employed as an MSK clinician, which provided valuable experience learning from other healthcare professionals to assess, treat and offer rehabilitation advice to help facilitate a patients recovery.
John has undertaken further studies in sports and rehabilitation, neuro-dynamics, dry needling, myofascial release, harmonic and muscle energy techniques and is continuing to expand his professional development with the Buteyko breathing course, which will allow him to work more effectively for those with asthma and breathing pattern disorders. He currently works with Chelmsford Rugby 1st team and is helping teach the next generation of osteopaths at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) in London.
When John is not working, he loves to spend time with his family and close friends and has a passion to remain active and healthy and will use this to help inspire others.
John is registered and regulated by the General Osteopathic Council and insured with the Institute of Osteopathy (iO).
Acupuncture is a natural and holistic way of treating health conditions, as well as calming and rebalancing the system. Using fine needles inserted onto specific points along the body, acupuncture is a safe method of treatment with very few of the side effects often associated with medication such as nausea, headaches or weight change.
