After spending over 30 years in the financial markets in London, I decided the time was right to pursue a new career in osteopathy where I am now able to spend time helping others who are experiencing pain and discomfort.
To be able to practice as an osteopath required me to spend 4 years full time studying for a Masters of Osteopathy (M.Ost) at the University College of Osteopathy (formerly the British School of Osteopathy) and involved approximatley 1,000 hours of cliical practice.
After graduating, I spent some time working within the NHS as an MSK clinician but found the short patient appointment times and long waiting lists did not allow me to spend any quality time with the patients I was employed to help, therefore I decided to open up my own practice where I am able to give them the time and space they deserve to be listened to and cared for.
I currently spend 1 day per week teaching at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) in London and have previously worked with Chelmsford Rugby 1st team.
I specialise in most common musculoskeletal pain conditions and have a keen interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation and have taking additional courses in Neurodynamics, Myo-Fascial Release, Muscle Energy Techniques, Buteyko Breathing, Dry Needling and more ..
I am fully insured, registered with the General Osteopathic Council and enhanced DBS checked.
When I’m not in the clinic, I enjoy spending time with family and close friends and have a passion to remain active and healthy and will use this to help inspire others.
